Cashcrate: Top Surveys & Sept 15 Report

We rekt that $35 goal!! I hit $35 on September 10th and we are just halfway through the month and we are $55 and counting. At this rate I think we can even make $70 to $100 in September.

You are probably wondering how I did it? Well it is all in the picture below.

Sept 15 Report

If you take a look at the Bonuses part you can see that I am now earning more than Surveys. What? Well let me tell you that if I knew about this in the past I would be earning about the same I am now! I feel so stupid that I only discovered it just recently. So let me reveal my new found cashcow...

You can earn that much too by signing up HERE.

Top Surveys.

So basically it is like normal Daily Surveys. The only difference is that you are profiled beforehand and given a list of surveys to qualify for.

As you can see there are a lot! Now you probably won't qualify for ALL of them but it is easier to qualify for than Daily Surveys. I don't think the approximate length matters since you can do surveys pretty quick once you get use to the site. You should be looking at the "Reward Amount" in all honesty!!

See those big fat $5 ones! Yummy. Highest I have gotten so far is $4 and was so stoked about that.

All you have to do is click "Start Survey"

If something like this pops up then it means you can qualify for it. Some Top Surveys have quotas to them so do them ASAP! Do everything right and this should show up. These surveys almost always credit instantly!

TIPS:

  • Top Surveys shop up randomly. Best way to take advantage of it is to do them all in the morning so new ones show up at night.
  • I think a lot of Top Surveys show up on Mondays. (unproven)

CashCrate: Offers

Another alternative to Surveys on Cashcrate is Offers. It is usually your default tab upon reaching the site.

Offers are basically tasks that involve sign-ups, install and play, surveys or buying stuff. They are not all free. You will see that some offers have a red "$" sign next to it. These are offers that require a purchase or a trial subscription for you to get credited the amount displayed.

To get to free offers you can do set the combo boxes to "100% Free" and "Payout" to sort from highest to lowest.

You then proceed to the task stated which is usually filling in information, sign ups or install and play. There are a lot of Install and Play ones for iOS and Andriod users! Once completing click the SUBMIT button and it should be PENDING on your My Earnings Panel. If you did it correctly it should be approved within 24-48 hrs.

Now for Paid Offers. I must say these are worth it if you are planning to purchase the product anyway. For example: I am planning to buy a website domain for this site in the future. Websites usually costs $10-15 and by going through this offer I can get it basically for FREE! Worth it!

Now say you are a Gamer like I am and would love to rent games off Gamefly. Well then take advantage of this offer. This offer basically gets you a months subscription and if you don't feel like the service is for you you can cancel right after. Win-Win for both sides!

You can make a lot off offers just by availing services online or by buying stuff through CashCrate. This is probably the most easiest way to get your first Cashcrate check.

So you can start getting these cool offers by signing up on Cashcrate!

CashCrate: Earning Update Sept 1-5

OK I lied. Updates will be every 5-7 days since it makes more sense to have a bigger sample to show you guys. Anyways, here is last months payment in processing.

So this is how it should look when you hit your $20 payout threshold. You can see the last payment I got of $28.07. A new check should arrive in 2-3 weeks time for the total of $22.91 which is in processing right now. You can also see that I have been slacking in September since I made less. If you are really motivated, it should be a steady increase unlike this one(Slacker Dee!).

I do see that some of you who have signed up are earning already! That is awesome! Keep going until you hit that 20 dollars. The first one is always the hardest!

Sept 1-5 Report

Total right now is $12.13 . I have pretty much been doing 1-2 surveys a day and have been trying to get more out of the Offers. This is why I am a bit iffy on it since it takes a long time to be confirmed and is usually PENDING. I am having little luck but if you guys have iOS or Andriod devices, there are a lot of Play and Install ones on the Offers tab(Windows Phone User sob). This should be easy money for you guys!

I have been being qualified for a lot of Live Sample and GiveUsYour2Cents lately! You should try and qualify for those ones too! If you need a guide you can find my Daily Survey guide HERE.

So basically we are more than 1/3 away from our goal of $35 this month! Assuming we make at least $2 a day we can hit our goal of 35 on the 17th! After that we can try and shoot for $50!

If you want to join in the fun you can sign up through our LINK and start earning today!

CashCrate: Checking In Daily

First things first, if there is anything more sure cash on CashCrate it is by checking in daily. By checking in, I meaning hitting that green button on the right hand side daily.

By doing this you get credited $ 0.03 instantly and if you manage to not miss one check in for the whole month then you get an extra $ 0.50. Yes it isn't a lot but why leave money on the table? .03 cents x 30 = 90 cents + 50 more cents, that is already $ 1.40 just buy clicking once per day and it only takes just a second or two.

Upon clicking the Check In button an offer will pop up.

cashcrate guide

Some offers are really big like this one and all you have to do is complete the offer entirely and you get credited the amount. Usually theses OFFERs require you to provide information, sign up or even purchase items in order to be completed. There are some offers that are real easy and you can get credited just by clicking the link.

By doing this daily, depending on the "Offer of the Day" you can build up a substantial amount of money by that.

If you haven't Signed Up yet you can do so by going through this LINK.

and here are some current guides I have made.

CashCrate: Videos

Another way to make easy cash on CashCrate is by viewing Videos. Now it may only cost $ 0.02 per instance. But look at it this way, as long as there are videos to be viewed you will always be earning $ 0.02! It all depends on your dedication to viewing them and honestly I am one of those people that keeps viewing it until it all runs out! haha.

So the first thing to do is find the Videos tab.

cashcrate videos

Click on that and as long as there are videos available you can click on the green button and usually a new window will pop up containing a video on it. Wait until the counter reaches zero and hit next.

cashcrate guide

Now, just to let you know there are different video instances. Some will not open a new window and just play on the video tab. Others will require you to click next on the newly opened window. So be sure to check what type it is. Most videos require you to hit next 4-15 times and in this case we need to do 10 of it.

cashcrate guide

After completing the process you are credited $ 0.02 and just start the process all over again.

TIP: You can open multiple tabs. You are WELCOME.

If you haven't Signed Up yet you can do so by going through this LINK.

and here are some current guides I have made.

August Content you may have Missed

Hey Guys! August will be ending soon and I would like to give you a blog list on posts this month. Facebook pages have changed a lot and I am seeing that not all of you are seeing it on your feeds. I'd like to do this every month not only to give you a monthly recap but also to track our community blog progress.

So lets get to it.

Gaming Content

Top 7 Games that defined my Childhood
- Part I
- Part II
- Part III

This is the most popular posts of the blog if you combine the three posts(yea should have just made it one post. derp!) I would like to hear about your games though. You can comment guys! Don't be shy-san! I like the interaction!

Cons of being a Gamer
- Gamer Rage

New series! I am starting to learn to write other content than just narrative stories or guides. I have actually enrolled myself in free online writing courses to help me write a little better. If there are Cons of being a Gamer I guess there should be a Pros of being one right? Don't worry I'm already on it!

RO2
- If you don't Play, it goes Away
- Master Classes... What?

I will be ending the RO2 series. I have played quite a bit and have noticed how much of a grind it is after LVL 50. I am a Master Warrior lvl 7 right now and all I did was just mob kill condors north of Morroc with a team of lurers and killers. The server is a ghost town and the only remaining community are those in guilds that are high level master classes. It just really isn't worth the time since it is really hard to get into raid groups too.

FreeStyle 2
- First Look

I am currently PRO(lvl 25) and I can't play any individual matches right now since that game mode has an level limit. Other game modes are too laggy for me. It may be my current wifi connection or just my old Laptop. I need to get that gaming PC fast.

Making Money Online

Cashcrate.com
Daily Survey Guide
- Payment Proof

This post has been quite a surprise. I mainly posted a guide due to excitement and got a great response. I have already been messaged that some are close to 10$ and have been doing it religiously lol! I will make guides for other methods to make money on cashcrate like offers, videos and top surveys soon. If you haven't signed up you can by going HERE.

I'd also want to ask what you guys want me to write about? What games do you want me to play? Do you want more making money online content? Comment below!

Cons of being a Gamer: Gaming Rage

gaming rage

This is probably where we get our bad reputations from. "Gamer Rage" what we call it, is pretty common in not just MMORPGs but in all games. Remember Floppy Bird? Even just thinking about playing that game gives me the feeling of throwing my phone across the room! I'm serious!

The thing is between gamers, the rage is pretty normal. But for outsiders looking in on us, I can see how they see it in a negative light due to all the cussing, trash talking and slamming of the keyboard. Gamer Rage can ignite from something simple as missing a jump in game or a god awful misplay that wipes out your whole team in any competitive game. I understand how frustrating it can get for most people especially when there is rivalry and pride involved.

I honestly have had my fair share of Gaming Rage during my teen years playing Ragnarok Online. I was pretty casual until I joined a guild and things got competitive. All the guild's enemies were my enemies by default and I was pretty confident in my skills as a player that I had to prove it. During times we won, I was in an ecstatic mood and when we lost, lets say I was pretty vocal about it and my girlfriend(now wife) was on the receiving end of my warpath.

You see, most Gamers suffer from what I like to call a "Bipolarish Disorder". We have the highest of highs and lowest of lows and with how games are set up, it is an endless cycle.

" Why you mad bro? It's just a game. "

--

Have you experienced gaming rage? What advice can you give for the mad bros?

The Sims 4: Create A Sim Demo

I played a lot of Sims over the years and it is probably one of those games that just puts you in a relaxed mood as you play it. If you don't know the new Sims 4 will be released in just a few days on September 2!

This got me excited and I decided to create my Sim before the launch through the Create A Sim Demo which you can download HERE for FREE.

So lets begin.

sims 4

I don't want to spoil the content for you so I wont show all the clothes. So basically you start by giving your Sim a first and last name. Then you proceed to either the traits(those octagon things) or their looks. I always personally start with the looks and try to make their traits match in a way.

sims 4

So you get to pick 2 major trait(don't recall what the call it) and 3 minor ones. The major traits you pick will be ones that will greatly influence your personality. For example I picked "Best Selling Author" with the "Muser" trait. Which makes me a good writer and boosts when I have an inspired mood. The other three traits I got were Geek, Creative and Slob. Geek will make me into Computers and Video Games while Creative will give me a bigger boost to my writing ability when I do creative stuff(lol cheater). The slob trait will make my Sim not care too much about Hygiene which means more time for writing(mega cheater!). I am basing all these traits from what I have on Sims 3 so I hope it will work in this new one.

sims 4 genetics

A new feature is you can use genetics to make a sibling look like you! You can even make a twin! Cool feature now it is time to create my wife. GG!

sims 4 guide

The game has a bit more Asian features thankfully.

sims 4 guide

I just had to play with it. and this too!

sims 4

Bewbs! ... Make em Big! LOL!

sims 4 guide

And the final product! I'm sorry that I did a bad job with my wife's Sim make up! Hey! I'm a guy! Question me if I it looked perfect!

So you basically get to save the Sims you make and import them once you get the game. I'm pretty excited right now and I can't wait to get my physical copy on September 2!

Try it out! Create A Sim Demo

Try the Sims 4 Create a Sim Demo and tag our page at https://www.facebook.com/ggdeeofficial with the sim you created.

CashCrate: Daily Surveys

By popular demand, since a lot of you were asking me to make a guide on how the site works. Some of you may be a little overwhelmed or have been taking surveys but haven't been credited. Don't worry I will be sure to help you out with this guide.

If you haven't already registered, you can by going through my referral link right HERE.

IMPORTANT:
Before starting anything I really suggest you create a new email to use for data input since they will ask you to enter your email every survey you take. If you use your personal email then you will be bombarded with coupons, offers and newsletters. You can sign up for a gmail, yahoo or hotmail account which ever is convenient.

The Process

You Take Survey -> Company Verifies It -> Notifies CashCrate -> CashCrate Credits You

The process completion can happen instantaneously or within a few minutes after or even longer for "new" surveys. Which is why my guide is focused on "DAILY SURVEYS" since these are almost always credited right away. I want you to avoid everything else like offers, top surveys, videos, bonus surveys/offers and cash tasks until you get more familiar with the website.

Where can I find Daily Surveys?

cashcrate guide

If you just signed up, your page will look something like this. So click on the Surveys tab with the flashing "NEW" sign.

cashcrate guide

Now this will open up some Grey Surveys and some Yellow Surveys. The one you should be doing are the Yellow ones. What I usually do is I start with the highest value survey, so in this case the Global Test Market (daily) one.

cashcrate guide

If the survey is available something like this should open in a new tab. If one isn't it will say then proceed to the next one.

Some surveys will put you through a qualification process first by asking your name, age, gender, location and annual income. You may not qualify for some of them but due take note that some companies are paying to survey certain demographics. Sometimes when you aren't qualified they will offer to find you a new survey. That is fine, keep patient until you find one.

Usually you just enter you personal info and then start with the survey. Most surveys are just questions answered by radio buttons(those circles that when selected gets a black dot inside) you select or just drop down boxes with choices. There are some interactive ones that may pop up where you listen to audio or videos and even stuff you have to do with your mouse. The topics may vary from your location, but some fun ones I have done were on TV series, Energy Drinks and music videos.

Some Tips During Surveys

Try to answer as truthfully as possible - Companies pay a lot to get feedback and if you answer the questions randomly or untruthfully it may affect they way they create the products in the future.

Use AutoFill - Some browsers offer this feature where you can autofill certain text fields. This saves time since you will be entering your information every survey. I personally use Google Chrome and i believe it has a built in autofill system correct me if i'm wrong.

Be careful with the information you input - Credit Card #s, Social Security and other personal numbers should be a obvious no no if asked.

SKIP - Certain surveys may or may not have additional offers for you after the survey is taken. If you do not want these, there is usually a "SKIP" button. Keep skipping until you are at the end of survey and be credited the amount.

As a bonus I would like you to show you my recent activities and if you do it right, yours should look like this.

cashcrate guide

As you can see that daily surveys pay good and are the most reliable. Sometimes I get really into it and take all the available surveys but usually I just do 1-2 a day, CHECK-IN and log out. You can easily get the $20 threshold by doing 1-2 a day but some people take it to an extreme and make $100+ a month which you can see on the payment wall of the site.

Well this ends my quick guide on daily Surveys. And if you haven't signed up yet, I would greatly appreciate it if you use my LINK as a referral.

Good Luck!!

Making Money Online: CashCrate.com

Today was pretty much a boring day until this arrived via mail from CashCrate.com!

cashcrate

Take note that this is the first time I have actually made money online and was able cash it out in a check form! I have been debating with myself whether to deposit it at the bank or just have the real thing framed as a reminder that it is NOT a myth to Make Money Online.

If you don't know what CashCrate is it is basically a site where you take surveys for cash. I basically spend 30 minutes a day answering surveys on tv shows, products, brands and food and it made me 28 dollars which is almost enough to pay my gym membership! Some people are even dedicated enough to make $100+ dollars a month which I think is insane for just clicking a few radio buttons and giving your own opinion.

The best thing about this site is it has a small cash out threshold of just 20$ and yes they do mail the checks internationally! Which is why I am recommending it to you guys since I have tried it and it is legit.

You might find it better than lurking facebook for hours. Here is my referral Link to the site.

FreeStyle Street Basketball 2: First Look

Freestyle 2 by JCE and published by GameKiss and Joycity just got released 2 months ago and I have been playing a lot of it lately. Lets take a look.

freestyle street basketball 2

First things first, I am a little disappointed on the character creation. Instead of full character customization they had pre-made characters that you could pick for each position. You can customize it through clothes later on in the game but it would have been great if they just kept the old character creation from Freestyle 1, where you could customize everything from height to facial features.

freestyle street basketball 2

Oh, and you don't start off as Guard or Forward in this game like you did in the previous one. Instead you will pick your permanent position and you will advance in rank. I believe the ranks are Rookie, Major, Pro and Star. In that order. Oh and you can customize your stats every level up as you can see.

freestyle street basketball 2

Game modes are pretty much the same you can play 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 Half-Court but the good things is, you can now have AIs on your team. You + 2AIs vs Opponent +2AIs. Each AI has a certain way of playing and different skills which you can see above. Sharon and Neil have been working well for me as a SG.

freestyle street basketball 2

A few games later I get my first game winning buzzer beater! Was a hard game and I jumped out of my chair after making that three!

Next time we take a look at Cards, Skills and the little robot Pets. Good game? or naw?

TV Must Watch: June - August

I just thought it would be cool to let you know about a few cool TV series that I've been watching lately. If you are like me, I am sure you would like to watch these too.

Please take note that no spoilers are in the post unless you watch the videos. These are just recommendations.

game of thrones

June - August Watch List

1. Game of Thrones: Season 4

If you haven't watched a single episode of Game of Thrones we can't be friends(LOL). This is honestly the best series since Dexter, and I am currently in a GoT coma until the new season premieres next year. Watch this for you fix of fantasy drama, adventure and treachery.

2. Silicon Valley

Geek Fresh TV series by HBO on about a group of guys working on a software unknowingly being worth millions. Fun Nerd / Geek Humor every episode and even don't even understand half of what they were saying I was laughing my ass off at the situations they were in. Must watch for you nerds out there!

3. Masters of Sex - Season 2

Pervs! This is no porno. This is a series on a biography of William Masters and Virginia Johnson. Dr. Masters an american gynecologist that studies the human sexual response in his spare time in the 1950s. He is in the process of being a pioneer in human sexuality while also diagnosing and treating sexual dysfunctions. The series tackles a lot of issues during the era like homosexuality, bisexuality and nymphomaniacs.

4. Suits - Season 4

Another one of those series that I barely understand but find it is quite amusing. It is all about a New York's finding a a drug troubled college drop out. Apparently the kid is brilliant and is taken under Harvey Specter's wing. The series is great but I do have a fanboy crush on Meghan Markle so im bias lol!

Are you watching any of these? Comment if you do! NO SPOILERS!

Top 7 Games that defined my Childhood PART 3

6. Final Fantasy Tactics (1998)

final fantasy tactics

The story's setting is in Ivalice right after the war between two nations called the "50 year war". The kingdom suffered a financial hit due to this and to make matters worse, their king is fatally ill. This means leaving two heirs to the throne, Princess Ovelia and his infant brother Prince Orinus. Queen Ruvelia during the years, gave birth to 2 sons but they both died after child birth. She then adopted Princess Ovelia of noble blood until she miraculously gave birth to Prince Orinus. The King dies and it starts a new war on who the rightful heir to the throne is. One side picks Ovelia and the other picks Orinus which has his uncle Larg as regent until he comes to age. This starts the "Lion War".

Now that I look at it, it looks kind of like Game of Thrones doesn't it. They are all fighting for power which is to be king/queen of Ivalice. This game has one of the richest stories with all the plotting for the crown, deceit, assassinations and  surprises. First you think one thing and then the game plays out and it is another which is just awesome! This is one of those games that I loved so much but never got to finish due to how much character customization it had from gear, stats, skills and job classes. It is a great game to play and indulge in. You can also play the kind of remastered version on the PSP called: Final Fantasy: War of the Lions.

7. Ragnarok Online (2002)

ragnarok online

History states that once upon a time Gods, Monsters and Humans went to war with each other and after years of battling they decided on a truce to keep the realm at balance. 1000 years to present time Rune Midgard has been seeing mass gathering of hostile monsters around there cities. This may be due to a truce broken by Humans due to their selfishness and brutality against nature. There have been recent attacks on people around the realm from these monsters and it caused a stir across the lands. Noticing a new war upcoming, the cities and states decided to train citizens to be prepared for a war between gods and monsters.

This game is really the reason I got into MMORPGs. Yes it is typically a grind since you really have no need to go through any story quests other than your job change quests but that is what I liked about it. Bashing monsters until you hit max level appealed to me and maybe a couple of you guys too. It is really fast paced due to how you can spam most skills without any cooldowns. I loved the cute character designs and most importantly the character stat and equipment customization. I could go on and on about builds and stuff which is why I made a niche website on it.

Games You've Played: FreeStyle Street Basketball

Move yo body don't stop d motion
You will show your skills and devotion
Freestyle hype the streets and commotion
Freestyle your move so you never lose
freestyle street basketball

Have you ever played Freestyle Street Basketball? If I recall correctly it was released in the Philippines around 2008 and was pretty much "Baller" get it? you know... LOL!

It is a online street basketball game made by JCEntertainment that you can play 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 with a lot of angst due to it's hip hop culture. The game was fresh with awesome art and great music. It was usually played half court with a time limit of 3, 4 and 5 minutes respectively. There are no fouls, no out of bounds and like all games, it is who has the most points at then end that wins.

You start off as a guard, forward or center and work your way up in levels to being Point Guards, Shooting Guards, Small Forward or Power Forward. The cool thing is that you can customize the look of your character through clothes and buy moves with your hard earned points which you gain every game.

I think the best part of this game is the satisfaction you get from dunking and making your opponents look silly with your moves. You get all that over the top dunks, ankle breaking crossovers and random shot stances as you progress with your level.

Here was their official trailer in 480 pixel glory.

I played a Shooting Guard back then with a couple of my computer shop friends and we wrecked everyone 2 v 2.  This is probably my 2nd most money total I have spent online game in my life next to Ragnarok. This is mainly due to the Load Bug(like/+1 this article if you know what i mean :D ) I even got to play this game with my younger sister and it was all fun while it lasted. Since it got discontinued.

Well I got my eyes on Freestyle 2 that just got out recently. I'll give you a fresh look in the next article!

Top 7 Games that defined my Childhood PART 2

Part I here

4. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998)

zelda ocarina of time

The story starts with a fairy named Navi waking Link from a terrible nightmare. It so happens that the sacred Great Deku Tree is in a withering stat due to the bandit in his nightmares. The tree knowing its fate, sends Link to meet Zelda in Hyrule Castle to see what is going on. He then realizes that Zelda too has been having dreams about the situation. The Bandit, Gerudo apparently is after the Triforce, which is a magical relic that if corrupted can be destructive to the lands. Zelda sets Link of on a mission to recover the spiritual stones so he can enter the sacred lands and claim the Triforce before Gerudo does.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time is just one of those games that gave me chills as a kid. In a good way! The game play, music and story was well made and provided an EPIC feeling. The game got a lot harder as the story progressed which was to my liking. I especially liked doing side quests to gain more heart containers so I had more life points to work with during boss fights. Also, getting chased by an angry mob of chickens just puts the icing on this cake. (if you know what i mean)

5. Final Fantasy VII (1998)

final fantasy 7

The story revolves around the main character named Cloud, who is an ex-SOLDIER turned eco-terrorist mercenary. His group AVALANCHE, lead by Barret, learns that the Shinra Corporation that governs the city of Midgar is extracting energy from the planet using reactors that provide Mako Energy. Thus, meaning it is killing the planet. They try to put an end but it seems there is more than meets they eye than this threat. As the story progresses the crew meets new people and finally puts the pieces together.

First Final Fantasy game I ever played and it was awesome! Turn based strategy games can a be a bit of a turn off for the newer generation, but if you combine that with a captivating story line and good character design you have an masterpiece. Collecting Materia and playing mini games will but fun yet rewarding. It is not your typical save the world kind of game, since it does involve a lot of internal character conflict, especially Cloud. Sure you are saving the world, but at what cost?

Part III

These are pretty much one of the best game franchises out there! What other franchises do you play?

RO2: Master Classes.. what?

We left off just finishing the tutorial zone. I decided to use up that trial peco mount since I new I was going to be walking a lot! I did all the main quests until I got to the map 2 Boss: Golden Thief bug. I seriously think they made some changes to the mobs since I remember spending a lot more potions. This bug didn't even last 5 seconds.

ragnarok 2

I was pretty much blazing through all the main and side quests until the colosseum went up. I cloaked my under-geared self by using my Artisan clothes and killed (well last hit) 4 people and some mobs to get a S in the first round. Only made it to the 3rd round until I got eliminated.due to those imbalanced hunters and mages.

ragnarok 2

I quickly did the the main quests after and found a party near wolves cave to try to do the dungeon. 1st party was crap due to how we were 3 melees, 1 archer and a acolyte. The acolyte couldn't keep up with the heals since we were all in the AoE skill of that damn dungeon boss. 2nd party was awesome due to how this noel race blazed through the dungeon and could pretty much solo it. At first I thought she was hacking but it turned out she was a master class?? Apparently you can rebirth in a way like RO1 to get more stats & skills. So after converting to a master class you become LVL 1 again.

Screw this I'm getting on my Warrior and doing the master class quest. Oh and the game now has Morroc.

RO2: If you Don't PLAY it goes AWAY

Oh, Ragnarok Online why do you do this to me? I have been reminiscing a lot lately since it has almost been a year of gaming starvation for me. So I patched up a few clients and logged in to find a lot of unfamiliar yet familiar things in each game. They funny thing is that I still recall hot key positions by touch and certain move strokes versus mobs. God I miss playing.

So I logged in to iRO2 (you can sign up HERE) to see how my LVL 50/50 Warrior/Blacksmith was doing and to my annoyance my stats and skills were reset. I also probably lost some stuff in the mail but was proud to see my FOUNDER titles still in the Event Box(I still have two left). I honestly am lost on how to proceed with my character due to this reset and long absence.I have also forgotten how to raid dungeons(all AI patterns and stuff) which I think is the main appeal for iRO2.

So might as well start fresh.

In-game name: GGDee

ragnarok 2

I am accepting all gifts on Odin Server... joke!

I will be building him into Tank Warrior/Knight(haven't decided yet) for PvE and set his profession into an Artisan which I am not familiar with at all. I mailed some Medium bags to myself to solve the inventory slot problem(cheater deerino) and started the newbie ground quests.

ragnarok 2

These quest are part of the relearning process and seemed EASIER than when I played in the past. I guess they reduced the HP a bit? It is all good I guess, since it is a tutorial dungeon. Got through it easy.

ragnarok 2

Also tried to get that Dragon Fly title but the party that invited me took so long to set up. We didn't have an acolyte and just had 2 archers plus me. I gave up on the Khara Quest since I new that I couldn't tank it by myself to due other quests and they kicked me out when they got an acolyte lol! If I were a bit more patient I guess I would have got that title bonus.

ragnarok 2

I am on my way to the next map and done with all the quests in newbieville. Let us see how this adventure turns out!

Want to play with me? Register HERE so we can party up. It is a new playthrough and if you are playing for the first time I can walk you through it. I think XD

Planning my Gaming Rig. I need your HELP!

Hi guys! I am planning my gaming rig and need your help. Any PRO pc builders out there?

I have always bought pre-made PCs/Laptops in my life since I really knew nothing about building one and it also scared me a lot. The thought of holding and installing hardware while fearing making mistakes and frying it is my worst nightmare! These things aren't cheap and wouldn't want anything to go to waste. Which is why I am asking for your help!

I have been scouring the net for pre-made ones like OriginPC, AvaDirect, Alienware and Digital Storm and I can't seem to find one that fits my needs or isn't overpriced. So I found this site and tried drafting out some parts. Here is what I have:

Dee's Ultimate Gaming PC

Case - NZXT H440 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case

gaming pc

Full Build - HERE

CPU - Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard - ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory - Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Video Card - Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB DirectCU II Video Card
Storage - Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Power Supply - SeaSonic G 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
OS - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

CPU Cooler - Recommendations?

The only 3 parts I want to keep are the CPU, 8GB RAM(will like cheaper options though) and the case. I think the CPU, RAM and Video Card is powerful enough to stream on twitch.tv while also playing from what I've researched. In the perfect world I'd want dedicated streaming PC but that is still further down the road for us lol.

Do motherboards matter? Like would getting something cheaper that could fit 8-16GB of RAM be good enough? What brands do you use?

The site also has CPU Cooler options. I'm guessing these are fans right? Say if I were to stream full-time 8-10 hrs a day, what cooling system should I get?

I need input from you techies out there! My budget is $1500 but I am willing to downgrade parts if there is no significant slowdown on performance. Let me know if I am missing anything else. Thanks!

Troubleshooting: Nokia Lumia Icon - Black Screen / Power Button doesn't work

I left my phone charging a while ago and as I got back to check it, the screen was BLACK. That was weird, since I don't remember turning it off. I pressed and held the side power button to turn it on and there was no response. I suddenly panicked since my phone was still pretty new.

I checked the outlet and the charger for any signs of burning smells. There was no smell at all so I decided to try and charge it on my PC. It did that beeping sound that happens when you plug in anything in the USB ports so I guess it was turned on. There might be a problem with the LCD.

So I did some research on the internet and here is what I found:

SOLUTION: Do a soft reset. You can do this by holding down the power button and volume down button for 15 seconds until you feel your device vibrate. That should fix it. via wpcentral.com

It apparently is a known Windows 8.1 Bug, which is weird since I still have the 8.0 OS. But it still resolved the issue.

Top 7 Games that defined my Childhood PART 1

1. Super Mario World (1995)

super mario world

The story takes place right after Super Mario Bros 3 and the trio Mario, Luigi and Peach look to take a hard earned vacation at Dinosaur Island. Princess Peach, being her and all, gets kidnapped again by Bowser and his Koppas. The adventure starts off when they meet this Dinosaur named Yoshi. It so happens that Bowser has also captured his friends and he asks for help. Seeing the benefits of their situation, Mario and Luigi agree to help Yoshi out and free his friends around the island.

I have found memories with this game. You have no idea! It is probably the best Mario game that Nintendo has ever made. Why? Well duh? It has Yoshi! and many different species of him. From fire breathing Yoshis to flying Yoshis to even Yoshis that could make shockwave once they hit the ground. Completing this game was probably the proudest moment of my 7-8 year old self.

2. Pokemon Red (1998)

pokemon red

The story starts as Professor Oak, a Pokemon Researcher, offers to give you a Pokemon due to how dangerous it is in the wild. You are offered either to pick Charmander, Squirtle or Bulbasaur. Upon choosing one you are pulled into the world of Pokemon catching, battling and raising. Your main goal is to challenge and beat all the GYMs in Kanto for gym badges. If you complete them you can challenge the Elite Four and claim your place as a Pokemon Champion.

This game started it all.All the Pokemon games, cards and merchandise is all because of this pocket monster phenomenon right here. I remember always choosing charmander as my lead pokemon, due to how my favorite pokemon back then was Charizard. I traded, battled and cheated(Rare Candy glitch lol) with friends and it was awesome! If you happened to have that gameboy cable, you were an automatic COOL KID on the playgrounds!

3. Counter-Strike (1999)

counterstrike

The game is basically a MOD of Half Life where you choose from two teams to play for. Counter-Terrorists and Terrorists. The main goal is either to eliminate the opposition, blow up a bomb site or rescue hostages during each round for a round point. You can purchase different guns using your personal economy which increases on how well you did the previous round. You have a good selection from hand guns, shot guns, machine guns and rifles.

This is pretty much the game that started all computer shops craze in the Philippines. It was easy to join a LAN game which was the most appealing quality. The atmosphere was intense as everyone had speakers(comp shops didn't have headsets back then) on and would spray their guns until the round was won! I was addicted to this game. I remember going home at 10pm on a school day just to get a counter-strike session in. De Dust, De Dust2 and Deathmatch were my favorite maps.
